Father and Son Nabbed by Brick Police for Narcotics
Brick Patch has recently reported that a father and son duo were arrested on a multitude of charges last week in a Brick Township home following a month long investigation by Brick Township Police and the Ocean County Drug Enforcement Unit who had been previously alerted to the distribution of heroin out of the residence. The search was executed by the aforementioned agencies with the assistance of the Special Emergency Response Team.
The search yielded a defaced 357 Magnum along with 56 rounds of ammunition in addition to marijuana in a quantity of more than 50 grams, psilocybin mushrooms, heroin, morphine, suboxone and buprenorphine, plus drug paraphernalia. The elder suspect was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and contempt of court. He as processed and released. His son, however, now faces possession of a handgun, certain persons, possession of a defaced gun, five counts of possession of CDS, one count of possession of greater than 50 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The younger suspect is in Ocean County Jail on $75,000 bail. The weapons offenses and marijuana possession offense each qualify as indictable offenses and are quite serious, exposing the suspect to state prison time. The Law offices of William A.
